| Let's face it, most of us are just waiting for a Zombie Apocalypse to happen, so that we can just start shooting, slashing, crushing and grinding whatever undead sons-a-bitches approaches. But, just wonder: even in a post-apocalyptic fiction (or a reality, whatever you want), every sack of resistance (be it organized or not) has been completely wiped out, without standing a chance. How can this be? We've got numbers, we've got weapons, but then why have the zombie prevailed? How can this be? I have my theories, of course, but it'll be nice to know what you think, first.

| No not every single group has been wiped out. World war Z takes place after the zombie apocalypse, We prevailed.
And if you read Day by day Armageddon, you'll see just how well humans can actually handle it.
Humans can adapt very well, when pushed to the limit, we'll push back harder. | |

| There main advantage is they have no need to sleep or rest, this is the one major failing mankind has. Also Humans have a nasty habit of thinking everything is fine and will work out, i started writing about an alleged pandemic and part of the story was how did mankind allow this to happen? The survivors in the UK headed for Scotland and set up a wall from east to west coast.
The only way to contain the undead was to give up land and focus on maintaing a society that was safe and un-affected, it contained a goverment, rules etc and thrived while a constant vigual was kept on the border defences. Messages where broadcast to inform other survivors to head North, they were quarintined and allowed free once no sign of infection was found. I might pick up the threads again and even finish the book. | |
